We were delighted that the study on which we collaborated with Prof Turner, Dr Kiam and the Society for Endocrinology was accepted and duly presented at BES in Edinburgh, although we were sadly unable to attend this year due to Covid-19.
The abstract, presented as an oral poster, shows data from the national hypopara management audit we carried out and looks at how post op hypopara was managed in those endocrine departments and where improvements needed to be made.
The presentation by Dr Jian Shen Kiam was very well received and we thank him and Professor Jeremy Turner for all their hard work.
