We are delighted to have received a generous donation of £10,000 from the de Laszlo Foundation in London to help sponsor our calcium home tester project. The calcium tester, developed by surgeon Tom Kurzawinski at UCLH and supported by Shire/Takeda is now ready to be trialled on patients. This donation meant that work on the trial could begin in May but it has been delayed due to lockdown. So we wait but now we know that our calcium tester is hopefully on its way! We send our grateful thanks to Damon de Laszlo for his generosity, to Shire/Takeda for agreeing to sponsor this project for us and to Tom Kurzawinski for seeing our need and doing something about it.
We will keep you posted.
